Joseph Ives, Bristol, Conn., 8 days, time and strike, weight iron and brass movement mirror wall clock, c1818 Mahogany veneered case in original finish with small loss loss at the door latch and a small veneer piece missing on the scroll. There is a grain painted interior. Original painted dial with some loss, inpainting and wear to the chapter ring. Hands are original. Original tablet with loss and repairs. Mirrors look to be original. Two of the three period finials are the proper type and size and are most likely original. The other finial is small and closer to a pillar and scroll size. No pendulum bob or weights. Ht 42.5"
