Read & Watson, Cincinnati, Ohio, tall clock, 30 hours, time and strike, wood movement in a cherry case with broken arch pediment, turned ebonized columns flanking hood and painted wooden dial with date calendar, c1815 the case has an old finish and the panel below trunk door has been replaced. The panel in the base is loose and split and there is a split in the pediment. The finial is loose. The dial is dirty. The movement will need service. Overall, this is an original example of an Ohio clock and has nice proportions. Ht 94 1/2"
