the mahogany veneered case is in excellent original condition including finish, but has a 1 1/2 spit in case near top rear. Original tablet in good condition. Spring driven movement stamped "J.C. BROWN, FORESTVILLE CONN. U.S.A.". Dial has original paint with wear around key holes and is signed J. C. Brown. The label has losses and there is good repair label on rear from Columbia, Penn. The hour hand is a replacement. Ht 15"
