The period dial with outer minute markings is incorrect for a pillar & scroll. The hour hand is original but the minute hand is a replacement. There is no label in the case and the weights are absent. The left scroll tip is broken (but in the case). The case top returns and three finials are missing. The feet are later replacements. The movement is a Seth Thomas, but its verge, strike hammer and its arbor are missing. The tablet is original and quite nice with only minor flaking. Ht 30Ò.
