Massachusetts, Attleboro-style Banjo clock, weight driven 8 days timepiece in a mahogany case with wooden side arms, reverse painted tablets, square bottom, c1850 this clock has been nicely restored, the case refinished, top chimney restored, dial repainted, and movement re-strung. Glass tablets are replaced. It was not always the case, but this is a good clock for the beginning collector, and would encourage him to study about less common banjo clocks. Ht 31"
