the clock case is very handsome and in excellent condition with an old finish. This 8-day pull-wind movement is unique to Hoadley, is complete and original except two replaced gears in the time train. The Hoadley dial is in excellent condition and extremely colorful with a factory and ship in the arch and an eagle above the hands. The weights are replacements. Please see Philip E. Morris Jr.'s "American Wooden Movement Tall Clocks" pg. 161 for a similar movement and dial. Ht 89", Width 19"
