Silas B. Terry, Terryville, Conn., 8 days, weight driven brass movement wall regulator timepiece, c1835 Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in original finish with a small ding near the key access and small chip on board just above the bracket. Original painted wood dial with some touchup in center area, but the chapter ring looks untouched. Newer stretchers were added to the back of the dial as these tend to warp. Original hands. Original round front plate, square back plate movement. Weight pulley is a modern. This is the earliest and scarcest of the S. B. Terry regulators. Ht 35"
