Walnut case in an old and possibly original finish with a couple dings and scratches. The walnut molded top has been replaced and the carved crest, though nicely done is a modern copy. Original painted dial has a repair at the winding arbor and a small area above 12 o'clock. The case is stamped no 11. Original tablet with minor loss at the black background. The cherry pendulum stick now gold painted is a replacement with original pendulum bob. Original brass movement and weight are stamped no 4. The weight baffle while old, looks to be a replacement as there are extra holes in the side stiles. Ht 48"
