French walnut and cast gilt metal figural mantel clock, 8 day with thread suspension and count wheel striking. movement stamped "Japy Freres" and "Taveau a Paris"; c1830 the dark stained wood veneer has some age splits, cracks and losses. The white enamel dial has repaired chips around the winding holes. There never was a front bezel. The standing dancer, probably cast brass, is fine. The bell pendulum are absent, but the trains run although not tested long term. Ht 20 in
