Refinished mahogany case made by David Winship. The scrolls are basically original, but the scroll ends have been replaced. The feet and skirt are replacements. The tablet is a modern repaint yet is flaking. The dial, and pendulum are original, but the dial has several cracks, repairs and some poor touch up and loss. The ivory door escutcheon has been replaced by a brass escutcheon and a brass door knob. The three sold brass finials and the steel hands are replacements, but are the correct shape and size. The movement has original gears, but a poor repair on a strike wire. Has original weights.
