Ithaca Calendar Clock Co., Ithaca, NY, "Hanging Steeple" wall clock with a spring driven 8 days time and strike movement and a perpetual calendar mechanism in a walnut case. The case finish appears to be original and has a nice soft lustre. The original paper time dial is quite worn. The calendar dial is in much better condition but has some yellowing. The calendar dial roller papers are original with nice aging. The hands are original. The movement is signed as expected with "E. N. Welch, Forestville, Conn., manufactured for the Ithaca Calendar Clock Co.". The very tip of the case base may be a later replacement, but extremely well done and matched to the case.
