Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in an old and possibly original finish. Original dial has been repainted and has age darkened. There are some age cracks in the half round door molding. The painted tablet has age and looks to have been in this case a long time, but it almost certainly began life with a mahogany lower panel as there are some extra holes in the frame. Original hands. There is a small repair at the dial door latch. Movement is attached with two screws through the backboard.
