Geographical Clock Co., Chicago, Ill., "Globe Chronometer", the 20" globe with world map with annular clock dial at the equator, showing "the Time at All Places on the Earth at the Same Moment", the map also showing currents, rail lines, submarine telegraph lines, and mean isothermal lines, mounted to a nickel plated brass base, with Waterbury 8 day timepiece movement, globe sections marked "No. 1" map with minor abrasions and loss to varnish, minor losses to map at bottom, base and stand with losses to plating, dial "lens" cloudy, running. George Wood Ramage, inventor and patentee of this clock, registered his original design in 1900, and an updated version on which this clock is based, in 1914. Research revealed no significant information on Mr. Ramage or the Geographical Clock Co., and we have seen only one other example, built to the specifications of the earlier patent.
