English, 8 day, spring driven, fusee movement drop octagon wall timepiece, in a mahogany case with bevelled edges, the painted dial signed J. Greatbatch, Birmingham. Refinished mahogany and mahogany veneered case with brass inlay. The veneer on the bottom octagon piece has been repaired. The bottom access door maybe a replacement. Original painted dial has small loss on the edge and at the mounting screws. Original hands. The side access door has been replaced. Nicely made cable drive fusee movement.
