Refinished mahogany and mahogany veneered case has some small chips and a couple missing pieces on the bottom door. The throat door has veneer damage in a couple areas. This case is of unusual construction as the bottom box is assembled with butt jointed boards rather than mitered corners. The backboard has a center piece of pine and two sides of mahogany. A break in the backboard was repaired with corrugated nails. Both tablets are replacements. The dial has been repainted. There are extra holes in the backboard in the head area. Modern hands. Replaced finial.
