Tall clock, 8 day, time and strike, weight driven English movement in a tiger maple Norwich-style "whale's tails" fretwork and scalloped skirt case ogee foot modern case by Robert Materne of Bristol, RI. Period movement fitted with a modern brass dial affixed to wood with a name boss inscribed Paul Rogers, Berwick (Maine) . the case is in excellent condition. The dial is made up of old and new components with a modern name boss. This is a handsome clock with a better movement than most reproduction tall clocks.
