Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "No. 71 Regulator" wall clock, 8 day, time only, weight driven movement with deadbeat escapement in a walnut case with ebonized trim, gilded wooden pendulum rod, damascened pendulum bob, painted metal dial and seconds bit the case retains its original finish. The finials have an overcoat of finish. The upper center finial has a repaired crack. The dial retains its excellent original paint, hands and drop shadow signature. The pendulum has original gold leaf on rod and damascene on bob. This is a very nice example of a rare model in this size.
