now with a modern weight driven movement. The bottom glass is new, but the throat tablet with "L. Curtis" is old. See detail image of neat original stenciling on sides of the case. The bracket and eagle have been poorly gilded and need further attention. Lower tablet of Boston Long Wharf. It is very difficult to estimate a value for this clock, since original Curtis girandoles now fetch over one hundred thousand dollars. Campos repros are around $4500. There is no reserve on this estate item and so we are using a broad estimate; note you are buying an old case with restoration and a new movement. Height 44" $1000-4000
