This is the rare square box base model, in the original factory shipping container. Weight is marked "V". Missing the latch for pendulum tie down. 29 inch case is all original, made of hard woods, stained imitation rosewood, and polished. Howard & Davis were making clocks 20 years before Howard made clocks on his own. With the original box, and all original clock in extra nice condition, the clock has been appraised for $3,500. Ly-American, pages 116-117, and Ly-American, Volume 2, page 132.
