Condition. Generally good original condition. This clock has an old set of painted [vs. leaf] tablets, that have been scraped and touched up from the rear. They are on old glass and appear to be as old as the clock. The movement is properly signed and with proper iron weight with "5" cast in. Cherry case retains nice original graining; bottom edge of throat missing so attaches with one screw [not visible]. Good iron dial, original paint with crazing and with very good signature; fits head perfectly, one hole in head boogered. This particular case has a grooved throat and thin wooden baffle (which is replaced). Height 29 inches
