Condition: Mahogany finished case with painted panels is in good condition with original finish. The bottom painted panel has a little lifting of the veneer on the bottom edge. Silvered dial is very nice for its age, with original signature of "gilbert-1807". Hands are original. Backboard behind the movement is a replacement. Eagle finial is old and appears proper. Long pendulum swings in lower box, seems to be running OK, one glue block missing in box. Ht 34.5" [87.6 cm]
