30-hour time and strike, weight-driven, wooden works. Painted wooden dial, Arabic numerals, gilt feather garter center and scrollwork spandrels. Mahogany case with carved half columns and scroll-cut splat. Columns with acanthus leaves separated by sections of turning. Replaced scroll-cut splat with oval rayed medallion and chip-carved edging, flanked by plain plinths. Door with late Victorian replaced tablet with acid etched geometric design, cleaned original finish and paper label. 18.7" wide x 5.25" deep x 36.25" high.Ex Paul A.
