Williams, & Co. Dayton, Ohio Shelf Clock, 8-day(?) time and strike, weight-driven, wooden works. Dayton, Ohio painted and stenciled dial, Arabic numerals, pears and apples in spandrels, and flourishes at center. Mahogany case with ebonized and stenciled half-columns, stenciled scroll-cut splat flanked by plain plinths. Door has ivory inlaid diamond escutcheon and repainted tablet. Case retains a largely original finish and original paper label. 33.5" high x 17.25" wide x 3.75" deep.Ex Paul A. Heffner Collection.Half-columns repainted, worn surface on lower half of door, some veneer damage to base, replaced hands; else G+.
