30-hour time and strike, weight-driven, wooden works. Painted wooden dial, Roman numerals, polychrome-painted center garter and white roses in spandrels. Mahogany case with carved half columns and scroll-cut splat. Columns with acanthus leaves separated by turned sections with plain plinth capital and base. Splat is fruit basket with foliage background, flanked by plain plinths. Door with old, possibly original mirrored tablet, cleaned original finish and paper label. 18" wide x 5" deep x 35.2" high.Ex Paul A. Heffner Collection.As above, else VG+.
