Ct. Shelf Clock, 8-day(?) time and strike, weight-driven, wooden works. Wooden painted dial with gilt scrollwork. Mahogany case with carved half columns. Top carved with pineapple in foliage surround, flanked by plain plinths; columns with acanthus leave alternating with fluted or turned sections. Tablet probably replaced in the 1880s, very late Victorian scrollwork on black ground; original paper label. 18" wide x 5" deep x 35.25" high.Ex Paul A. Heffner Collection.As above and refinished, VG.
