8-day time and strike, wooden works. Painted wooden dial, Roman numerals, gilt 8-pointed star between each number, polychrome-painted swag garter center and gilt scrollwork spandrels. Mahogany case with carved half columns and splat. Columns are acanthus leaf-carved with turned segments. Splat with fruit basket with foliage background, flanked by plain plinths and turned finials. 3-paned door, clear dial over mirrored middle tablet over painted fruit basket with leaves in bronze on black ground.
