this clock has been nicely restored. The dial professionally refinished by the Dial House in Dallas, GA (with raised gilt corners and crackle finish). Mov't is complete and sound, strike side cord broken. Label is outstanding. Note the stenciling on the columns is original, however case refinished and paw feet are recent. The double portrait tablet is very well done and would cost $150 alone. Details on Levi and James Frisbie can be found in Oechsle and Boyce's book "An Empire in Time" . They purchased movements from Jeromes and Darrow, which ours has, although ours does Not have brass bushings on the winding arbors, which later Frisbie clocks had. Ht 30"
