case retains original finish; there are some traces of the gold stenciling that was originally applied to the base. Gold stenciling on the top tablet has been 3/4 worn off from cleaning the inside of the glass. The original painted dial is excellent; the bottom pattern glass is very old, but would probably have been a stenciled /painted tablet. The label is outstanding. Mov't is a bit loose from shipping, so attend to prior to winding. Ht 14.75"
