refinished mahogany case in nice clean condition. Rope molded door frames are now gold painted over the original gilding. Bottom door originally had an L turn, but now has a side latch. Aurora tablets have some age and lifting, but are not original. Step train movement with Concord style keystone is mounted to the case with a center screw through the backplate. Period iron dial mounted to the head with two L turns. Dial paint appears to be original with restoration and strengthening of the numbers and signature. Hands are period. Finial is modern. Ht 33.5"
