Jeromes' and Darrow, Bristol, Conn., C.1830, 30-hour time/strike wood movement, stenciled half column and splat shelf clock, short, with carved feet. Refinished mahogany veneered case is in clean condition with a couple of veneer chips in the base. Stenciling on the columns and splat is about 50% original, and the balance professionally restored to match. The well painted tablet is by Moberg, signed on rear. Original painted dial approaches outstanding and the hands are original. Top side returns will need some repairs to the veneer and to the nail holes that currently fasten them to the top. Nice set of pineapple finials. Ht 28.5"
