This model was made by Ithaca in the 1880's, and for the last several years has been reproduced exactly like the originals. As I have said before, and I know this has happened, you put an old backboard on this clock and it will pass for an old one. Yes, there are those unscrupulous folks out there that would do that, and have done that. Everything is identical, crystal pendulum bob with the engraved logo "ICCCo", lower dial with numerals etched in the glass, the case size, carvings, dials, hands, and movements, are all copied exactly. We would expect this clock will run perfectly unless something gets out of adjustment in shipment. Ly-Calendar, pages 132-135. We have been selling original 3 1/2 models for $5000 or more for several years.
