In the process they put the base on backwards, perhaps because of the paint, or it could be a new base. They are available. The oak case is 39" high, a couple of rough spots but you must look hard to find them. The "Grand Trunk Railway System" glass is extremely nice, making one wonder if original to this painted and cleaned case. It could be, I just do not know. The bezel has been painted, probably because of paint or corrosion. The dial paper is new. Good brass bob and wood stick. There is, or was, a label on the back, now covered with paint. The movement is time only, running for 8 days. LySessions, pages 82-83, and others.
