the case retains its original finish with rosewood graining intact. There is a horizontal crack in lower throat frame between screws that anchor throat to case. The movement is stamped twice "J. POLSEY BOSTON" and the original weight is stamped "4". The weight baffle is a replacement. The throat glass and lower tablet may be old repaints. Ht 31 1/2"
