Gale, "Drop Calendar No. 3", perpetual calendar wall clock with 8 day spring driven movement with full astronomical indications for the age of the moon, day of week, date, month and equation of time chart showing sunrise and sunset times for New England latitudes. The case is of recent manufacture, nicely done with walnut and mahogany veneers over pine, stained a mellow walnut color. The dial pan is from a Gale No. 3, the printed paper dial appears new, with a heavy coat of something to give it the appearance of age. The paper label, center calendar hand and pendulum are replacements. Calendar mechanism with some restoration. Brass case hanger is old. Ht 30 1/4"
