the three door case retains its original finish rubbed down with several age splits to lower door. The tablets are proper repaints. The repainted dial has incorrect E. Howard and Co., Boston signature (that should be changed /removed to reflect the quality piece it is). The door key, pulley and brass covered weight (engraved "Regulator") are original. Belding D. Bingham was well known in New England for producing high quality regulators. Ht 49 1/2"
