Mahogany veneered case in original finish with a minor repair on the upper door. There is some evidence of the stenciling under the dark finish on the columns. Carved splat is period, but is a replacement. There is a crack to the base that would need attention. Tablet is a replacement. Two of the paws on the carved feet are missing. The right back foot is replaced and not the proper design. Original mahogany plate movement with a small repair to the bridge. Bone escutcheon on the bottom door is missing. Top wood pulley on the left side is missing. Dial and hands are original, but the hour hand has been repaired. Ht 37"
