Mahogany veneered case in an old and possibly original finish. Bottom tablet is original with some loss and is cracked. Columns and splat are gold painted, but have mellowed to create a nice look. Original painted dial has some minor chips, but is quite nice for its age. Large strap brass movement with pewter winding drums. Hands appear to be original. Key escutcheons are now wood. Ht 36"
