Jerome and Co., New Haven, rosewood 30 hour time, strike and alarm cottage clock, c1875 the wood case has been nicely refinished, but the reverse paint top glass is cracked and the front door's two rosettes are absent, minor veneer chip. Both tablets have had their surrounding trim painted white. The painted metal dial has cracks and flakes. There is the nice little alarm movement that rings on a separate bell, wallpaper on the backboard, and the good printed Jerome label inside the door. The movement ticks and strikes the hours on a gong. Ht 16"
