according to Spittler and Bailey, these movements were made 1908-1930 and then cased and sold by Tilden-Thurber of Providence, R.I. The solid wood case, brass sidearms and eagle finial, and reverse paint glasses are of comparable quality to Waltham banjos, and are in very nice original condition. The painted metal dial is very good, but the 4 mount holes have been elongated to line up correctly. Movement ticks but may need cleaning. Ht. 39"
