Refinished mahogany veneer case in nice condition with an expert repair to one of the scroll ears. Original painted dial is very nice. Hands are original. Movement is original and made by Ephraim Downs and supplied to Hoadley when he first began producing clocks and after a time he started producing his own movements. Bottom tablet is missing and currently has painted tin insert. This clock at one time belonged to Irving Cooperman an early collector. Finials are not original and the tin dust cover on the back of the case is missing. Nice label inside case. Ht 31".
