H&H ordered Chelsea movements to install in several styles of high-end wall clocks they sold, and Chelsea sales records confirm that this serial number was shipped to them in 1918. The well-made case has its original finish, with some small nicks and scratches, and the reverse-paint tablets are colorful with just a bit of lifting. The top convex glass is fine, the painted metal dial needs light cleaning. Interestingly, the bottom door is hinged at its bottom edge and opens down. The movement ticks. Ht 39"
