Massachusetts "Regulator No. 4 style" banjo wall clock, 8 day, time only, weight driven movement in a rosewood grain painted case with Howard and Davis type reverse painted throat and lower tablets and painted metal dial signed "E. HOWARD and CO. BOSTON", c1890 the case retains its original rosewood grain paint. The reverse painted tablets are repainted. The original dial has its original paint. The pendulum bob does not appear to be a Howard type and does not fully extend to the tie down. The original weight is stamped "IIII". Ht 32"
