the case has an old soft patina, and some wood seams are spreading a bit from age. The bottom right corner needs attention to correct the misaligned side molding and repaired wood. The paper dials and calendar rollers are old and original with some wear and darkening. The hands appear newer and the pendulum bob may not be right. Much of the rear label is dark but present, and there is a penciled presentation from 1877 below it. Ht 22.5"
