Silas Hoadley, Plymouth, Conn., 30 hour, time and strike, weight wood movement half column and splat shelf clock. c1830 Refinished mahogany veneered case in nice condition with a shiny shellac finish with a veneer chip on the door, on the flat band above the door and repair to the right chimney. Remains of original stenciling on the splat and columns. Original painted dial with some wear around the winding arbors the chapter ring and some loss at the mounting screws. Tablet looks to have been restored in place and has a small crack on the left side. Wood movement was made by Hoadley. Clean label inside case. Ht 29"
