Rily Whiting, Winchester, Conn., 30 hours, time and strike,, weight driven wood movement stenciled column & splat shelf clock with carved paw feet, c1830 Mahogany veneered case in very nice condition in an old finish. Interesting flat form columns with original stencils on the columns and splat. Original wood dial is pretty nice for its age. Hands original. Movement was made by Whiting. The tablet glass has been out of the case and may be original, but the border and the scene have been heavily restored, but still has loss in the scene. Clean label inside the case - note Whiting's name is off center. Ht 29"
