Lewis perpetual calendar mechanism in a rosewood veneered case in the style of the Lewis No. 2 calendar. The case retains its original finish, somewhat alligatored. The original painted dials have no paint loss but have some speckling which needs to be removed. The hands are original. The movement has solid plates and maintaining power with steel pivoted rolling pinions. The lower lock mechanism is absent.
