Horace Tifft, North Attleboro, Mass., 8 day, weight brass movement Patent or banjo timepiece.

Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in an old finish has some very small damage on the bottom door and a small chip on the throat door. Both original tablets are cracked. There is also a repair made to the dial door. Period dial that looks to be original has some small repairs to correct paint loss. The movement stamped "L. A. Hall & Co." is most likely not original as it is not the type found in a Tift and the backboard has been recessed to fit this movement. The pendulum rod is not original as it has a hook at the bottom and would not work with the period bob. Period hands and finial.
